A Student Suggestion Box is available for students to provide suggestions and/or complaints to SVA. The box and suggestion forms are located at the Community Building front desk. When a student is submitting a suggestion, there is a place on the form for a student to show if they want their name to be kept confidential or if it can be shared with others.
- A student completes a suggestion form and places it in the suggestion box.
- The suggestion is reviewed in Student Leadership Meeting. Student Leadership determines how to best address the suggestion or complaint. If more information is needed, the student submitting the suggestion may be contacted.
- Most suggestions are read to the SVA student body and staff members in Community Meeting for discussion, clarification, and assignment.
- Progress on the suggested changes and/or resolution is reported to the student body and staff members in Community Meeting.
If a student feels uncomfortable with this suggestion process they have the right to communicate their suggestion or complaint to any staff member and determine the best way to get suggested changes made and/or complaints resolved.
